First Things First. I does not matter whether you have decided to start your own business, join a home based business or market products and services online, the first thing that you need to do is set you mind for success. I know this may sound silly because you are excited and ready to get started. THIS IS WONDERFUL and how it should be when you start any business venture. On the other hand, just as with anything else in life, you have to "roll with the punches" and that is all that I am trying to prepare you to do. Just as in any business, planning and work needs done from the start.
There is also a learning curve for most new online marketers. In my experience, not only was there the process of learning and mistakes, but also what seemed like a shortage of time. I had to find a balance between the two things I loved most in this world: my family and my work. Once I got that settled, all began to fall into place.
The point is that we each have our personal reasons for why we choose to go this route. No matter what, there are no excuses when it comes to your success. It does not matter whether you are having a "bad day" or "have a hundred things on your mind", learning how to successfully market online is not hard, though it does take a higher level of commitment from the start. This is a higher level of commitment to your personal success, as well as to help others as well. Yes, there will be much opportunity to partner and help others, too.
I hope this ends up being the easiest "job" that you have ever had. If it is not, DO NOT QUIT. Keep moving in progress and do whatever it takes to ethically succeed. If that means taking a day or two (during the process) to read and implement the details from an e-book or video, then that is your work for the day. If it means that you need to stop and strategize again, then that is what you must do. It does not mean that you have failed at online marketing or that you should quit promoting a particular business and find something new. It means that you have something to learn in order to succeed.
Additionally, when you are doing well and the money is "rolling in", DO NOT STOP overseeing your online marketing. Search engine algorithms and trends change very quickly on the Internet. You will always need to stay one step ahead and have a plan (a back up too). For example, I was on a conference call with a gentleman that has been doing phenomenally well at a business called EZ Wealth Solutions. His strategy has been in posting ads, blogging and recording a series of online tutorials for his prospects. Without warning, YouTube shut down his account. His business was affected immediately. Had he not been plugged into his business daily, he would not have known that this happened, and what to do to immediately correct the situation.
